Wolf Solar Electric, LLC - Company Terms and Policies - Updated December 1, 2023

General

1. These company terms and policies are effective until amended or revoked by Wolf Solar Electric, LLC, at its sole discretion.
2. Wolf Solar Electric, LLC reserves the right to make changes at any time to these terms and policies.
3. For purposes of these company Terms and Policies, the term “the company” shall refer to Wolf Solar Electric, LLC at all times unless noted.

Warranty

1. All products are covered under the warranty of their respective manufacturer.  These warranties vary on a per-product basis.  If you have any questions regarding a product warranty, be sure to ask us before making a purchase.
2. Wolf Solar Electric, LLC makes no claim of accountability after a product has been received by the ordering party.  The customer assumes all costs associated with following warranty guidelines of a specific manufacturer.  These costs may include, but are not limited to, diagnosis of a problem, removal of the product from service, and shipping of the product back to the manufacturer for warranty consideration.
3. Wolf Solar Electric, LLC will not be held liable for any costs, consequential or otherwise, resulting from the sale, installation, or use of any product sold by the company.
4. Installation or use of certain products by unlicensed or inexperienced people may void all warranties.  Always consult a licensed electrician before making a purchase decision regarding a solar PV system.

Returns

1. No returns or exchanges shall be accepted on electronic items.  Electronic items include, but are not limited to, Inverters, Solar Panels, Switches, Meters, Monitors, Charge Controllers, Wind Turbines, and Batteries.  The company reserves the right to refuse a return on any item it sells at its sole discretion.
2. All returns must be authorized in advance by an employee or agent of Wolf Solar Electric, LLC.  All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase or delivery to the customer.  All returns must be in original and undamaged packaging as received by the customer.
3. All returns due to shipping damages shall follow the shipping policies set forth below.
4. Special order sales are FINAL.  For more information on Special Orders, see the section below.

Shipping

1. Damage during shipping or transit to the Wolf Solar Electric, LLC facility could delay an order beyond that originally planned.  The company will make every attempt to handle damage claims as quickly as possible so as to reduce delays to the customer.
2. Damage to items shipped from the company to the customer must be reported immediately.  Any delay in reporting shipping damage may result in a claim being denied.  All damage claims must returned to the company for inspection, unless inspection can be arranged at the customer premises by the shipping carrier.  If a damaged part is installed or used by the customer, the damage claim will be voided.  Installation or use by the customer constitutes acceptance of the product received in good order.
3. Claims of damage from shipping are with the shipping carrier directly and not with the company.  While we will make every effort to assist a customer with a damage claim, the company will not be held liable for the outcome of such a claim.
4. If a customer finds parts are missing from a product or kit, a claim must be made to the company within 7 days of receiving the product.  If notified within 7 days, the company will make every effort to forward the missing part(s) to the customer, and file a claim with the carrier in such regard.  Claims for missing parts made after 7 days of receiving the product will not be honored.  Be sure to thoroughly check all boxes to be sure they are complete once you receive your shipment!
5. Wolf Solar Electric, LLC may use UPS, Fedex, US Mail, or any other carrier or shipping service available at our sole discretion.  Remote orders may require special delivery arrangements.  The customer will be responsible for any special delivery costs incurred as a result of an attempt to fulfill an order.

Special Orders

1. Due to the large amount of variation in product needs, it is impossible to predict which products to have on-hand.  The company will make every attempt to have reasonable and popular products on-hand, but some products will require a special-order for the customer.  The customer will be notified, in advance, of the need to special order a product for which the customer has placed an order.  The customer will be given the opportunity to cancel the order if he/she does not wish to wait for a special order to arrive.  However, once the special order has been made, it cannot and will not be cancelled or returned.  All special order sales are FINAL.
2. Special order sales may take days, weeks, or months to arrive.  The company will do its best to communicate any delays to the customer, however, the company will not be held liable for any delays in shipping or manufacturing.
3. Due to our remoteness, shipping costs are hard to verify at the time of ordering.  There may be additional shipping charges applied by the carrier to any and all special orders.  The customer agrees to be held liable for any and all shipping charges due to the company for any special order sale.
4. Special orders require payment in full in advance.  Estimated shipping charges will be added to the order up-front, however, any additional shipping charges will be billed according to paragraph 3 above.

Payment

1. Wolf Solar Electric, LLC currently accepts cash, approved check, money order, cashiers check, or bank wire transfers for payment.
2. All checks must be approved by an employee or agent of the company.  No out-of-state or out-of-area checks will be accepted as payment.
3. There is a $25 fee for returned checks.  All returned checks must be repaid in full within 7 days to avoid legal action being taken to collect any amount due the company.  The customer will be responsible for any and all legal fees incurred as a result of collection services, if needed.
4. Bank wire transfers will be charged an additional $30 bank service fee in addition to any fees charged by your institution.
5. All orders will be paid in full before shipping or delivery to the customer.
6. Wolf Solar Electric, LLC does not currently accept online ordering via our website.  Solar power systems are tailored to each installation, and cannot be properly supported via a "one size fits all" approach.  We believe each customer deserves a properly designed and installed system, and we will be happy to work with you in-person.

Legal Disclaimers

Wolf Solar Electric, LLC, including its employees or agents, will not be held liable for the sale, installation, use, or misuse of any product sold by the company for any purpose.  We expressly disclaim any and all warranties and claims, including claims of accountability for a specific purpose, regarding all products or services offered for sale by the company.  Many of the products sold by Wolf Solar Electric, LLC require installation by a licensed electrician, and care should always be exercised when working with electrical products.  The company shall not be held liable for any damages, consequential or otherwise, resulting from damages to a building or structure as a result of improper installation or use.  The company shall not be held liable for any injuries or death to person(s) working with electrical components sold by the company.

Wolf Solar Electric, LLC shall not be held responsible for any failure to perform, or and delays in performance of, its obligations resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, any future epidemic, government shutdown, civil unrest, significant weather events, or natural disasters that may disrupt operations.  The buyer shall not be entitled to any damages from delays or failure to perform resulting thereof.

Due to supply disruptions, Wolf Solar Electric LLC reserves the right to subsitute, at its discretion, products or materials used during the installation process.

Wolf Solar Electric, LLC HIGHLY recommends that ALL products sold by the company be installed by qualified and licensed personnel experienced in working with high-voltage solar PV systems.

By ordering any product or service from Wolf Solar Electric, LLC in person, over the phone, or by email, fax, standard mail, or online you are agreeing to and accepting all of the terms and conditions set forth above.
